How do I send money from a self-service kiosk?
  1. Confirm your identity.

If you have made at least one Western Union over-the-counter transfer since January 1, 2021, confirm your identity on the machine with your ID.

If you haven’t made a Western Union over-the-counter transfer since January 1, 2021 :

  • Register first on verification.wu.com
  • Once your account has been registered and activated, confirm your identity at the machine using your ID.
  1. Complete your money transfer right at the kiosk.

Provide the following information:

  • Country of destination
  • Amount to be sent
  • You receiver’s details
  1. Pay directly at the kiosk.
  • With a French bank card only
  • Up to 1,500 € per transaction (including the transfer fee1)
How do I send money at a Western Union location?

To make international money transfers at a Western Union location you will need to fill out a ‘Send Money’ form and pay our agent the amount you wish to send abroad, plus fees1, in cash. The recipient will then fill out a ‘Receive Money’ form at their Western Union location and show the agent some ID. Your recipient will receive the cash from our agent.

How do I send money online?

You can send money online to a Western Union location for a cash pickup, directly into your receiver’s bank account or to your receiver’s mobile phone. After you’ve chosen your destination country, you’ll see the types of services available.
