In 2014 I visited a piece of land owned by Nassuna villagers being used to host organic land workshops to teach villagers skills to feed themselves and provide income. Produce was also being used to feed children at a local charity funded school. As a keen organic grower who is passionate about helping others to help themselves I was inspired by this project. Unfortunately animals have been able to enter the land, do damage to the crops and soil structure due to a lack of fencing. $1000 would allow the land to be adequately fenced straight away enabling it to be used to its full potential.
